Where
Camptopia: A purpose-built outdoor recreational venue for high-occupancy student programmes and orientations.
When
Event Run-Time: Gates open at 4PM. 4:20 PM – 9:30 PM
* Arrive early to coordinate your team footprint. Free return MTR shuttle buses will run throughout the evening wrap phase.
What to Expect
- Water Games Live Setup: Practical demonstrations of high-volume water array setups.
- Campfire Mechanics: Safe fire-building practices, wood stacking, and emergency protocols.
- On-Site ExCo Workshop: Practical flow training, crowd routing, and logistics management tools.
- Live DJ Performance: Test sound pressure limits and check the outdoor audio staging array.
- Food & Refreshments: Concessions available for purchase throughout the entire operation window.
Important Guidelines for ExCo Teams
- Pack Extra Gear: Anyone tracking into the splash zones or participating in water trials must bring a full change of clothes and a towel.
- Operational Notes: ExCo leaders will receive itemized technical handbooks mapping campfire layouts, canvas water sheets, electrical parameters, and crowd-handling strategies.
